- - Model Development & Spatial Analysis: Designed a simulation model and conducted spatial analysis along a river profile to study algae growth, mortality, and detritus accumulation under varying environmental conditions.
- - Data-Driven Refinements: Investigating causes of ecosystem changes, analyzing data, and modifying the model to assess impacts on ecosystem stability.
- - Sustainability Insights & Tool Development:: Discovered that phosphorus flow remains largely unaffected by external factors. To regulate algae biomass, identified reducing light exposure—e.g., by increasing riparian shading—as the most viable solution. Developed an interactive web app using Streamlit to visualize system equilibrium under different parameter configurations.
